November - Fall Fest was a lot of fun! Special thanks to everyone who helped, including volunteers, staff, board members, and donors. Our community is made possible and continues to grow because of all that you do.
October - Fall Fest is this Saturday, FOX5 reports about the growing problem of duck dumping at GNS, upcoming Barnyard Boogie events, and the Hispanic Arts and Culture Festival was a success (book your event at GNS now)!
September - A groundbreaking prehistoric discovery at GNS, special thanks to our volunteer video creator, don't miss the Hispanic Arts and Culture Festival on September 28, another upcoming Barnyard Boogie event, and save the date for our Fall Festival on October 26!
August - George the duck’s gender reveal, special thanks for help with George's duck diet, mark your calendar for Barnyard Boogie events in September, new discoveries in the Gilcrease excavation, and join the BioBlitz wildlife photo event at Floyd Lamb Park.
July - George the duck found his forever home at GNS after the closure of The Mirage, celebrate GNS Director Jenn Langford’s recognition as Citizen of the Month by the City of Las Vegas, and the ongoing contributions of dedicated volunteers Bill and Mary Moss.
June - How animals are keeping cool at Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary, Puddin’ the pony receives love and attention, the cutest pygmy baby goats, special $5 admission Wednesdays, and scheduling your next event at GNS.
May - Saving the peacocks at Floyd Lamb Park, building new garden boxes for the sanctuary, blooming prickly pears in the cactus garden, and the successful Spring Festival with fun activities and a new name for our female turkey, Fifi.
April - Don't miss the Spring Festival this weekend (Saturday April 20, 2024), the new gift shop is stocked, and thanks again to our talented volunteers.
