Volunteering at Gilcrease Animal Sanctuary is more than just community service—it’s a labor of love. Whether you’re looking to earn school or job-related volunteer hours, enjoy being outdoors, or want to give back to animals in need, we welcome compassionate individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves.
You’ll help care for over 200 animals, maintain their enclosures, support our sanctuary grounds, and get hands-on experience that makes a real impact.
Located in Las Vegas, we’re a peaceful oasis dedicated to animal care and conservation.
Perfect for students, clubs, job service hours, or first-time volunteers. Shifts are flexible and include cleaning enclosures, watering, feeding animals (under supervision), yardwork, and more.
Requirements:
Must be 16+ or accompanied by a parent/guardian
Attend a short orientation
Closed-toe shoes and outdoor gear required
Respectful, reliable, and ready to work!
Our Long Term Volunteer team is the heart of our sanctuary. This group of dedicated individuals helps manage daily care routines and provides consistent support throughout the year.
